Great Walgreens Deal on Viactive

Hey guys!

Just wanted to share with you the little deal I got on Viactive calcium chews.  These are my favorite way to get calcium (it's important, ladies!) - but they're so expensive, ($8.99/tub).  Well, I got a few of those $2/1 coupons and was just waiting for them to go on sale.  Sure enough, Walgreens has a $4/1 coupon in their ad, so you can get these for $2.99 each!  I had three of the $2/1 coupons from Red Plum, so I got three tubs.

I also picked up some raw almonds because I'd been craving them, and I used the Walgreens coupons for 2/$1 on the Arizona Iced teas (addicted) and $.89 for the Reynolds Wrap.  :)

Also, I like to stop by the clearance section - they had some pain reliever on clearance for $1.25.  Had to grab a box of this:

Overall, $21.35 total with tax, saving me $22.00! :)

Walgreens - Makeup deal

Heya, everyone!

Today I made 4 separate transactions at Walgreens.  :)

1.  Fusion Pro Glide deal - $9.89 ($3.10 off the normal price) with a $4/1 coupon and receiving $5RR (register rewards good toward a future purchase at Walgreens.)  I did this twice.

Shelf Value = $12.99
Advertised savings = $3.10
Coupon savings - $4.00
Total paid w/tax = $6.44
Total savings = $7.10

2.  Cover Girl cosmetics are on sale for Buy one Get one Half off.  So, I picked up two of my powder foundations (cantlivewithoutthem,) and two clearance black mascaras.  I paired these specials with two of the $2.50 off two Cover Girl products, and also used the RR from the first transaction.

Shelf Value = $33.56
Advertised savings -$14.10
Coupon savings - $5.00
RR savings -$5.00
Total paid w/tax = $10.55
Total savings = $21.99

3.  Then, I did another trip to a different Walgreens with these awesome mini boxes of Captain Crunch for $1 each.  I used five of my $.50/1 coupons, and spent $2.50 on each.  I also snagged two sets of two eyebrow pencils on the Cover Girl special, and used another of the $2.50/2 coupon, along with a clearance Stay Matte foundation by Rimmel, paired with a $1/1 coupon.

Shelf Value = $16.77
Coupon & sale savings = $5.50
RR savings -$5.00
Total paid = $6.77

TOTAL value = $76.31
Total paid = $31.52
Total savings = $44.79 (58.69%)

Walgreens yesterday... It's RAZOR time!

Okay, so I have to share my couponing victory with you guys.  Today I did a little Walgreens shopathon because they're having such great deals on razors.

They do a thing called "Register Rewards," when you buy certain products, you get Register Rewards, which are coupons worth various dollar amounts good toward your next visit.  Awesome sauce.

I did three separate visits to get this bunch of goodies, valued at $107.7, for only $25.41.

Keep in mind, the advertised SALE for just the two razors in the middle there (Gillete Fusion) was $9.89 EACH.  But, I got all these goodies for $25.41, and we will not have to worry about buying razors for a LONG time.

You can do it, too.  Just pair up sales with coupons, especially for items with Register Rewards.  Make sure to familiarize yourself with the coupon policy so you do it right. (ie: you have to have one item for each coupon or RR you use.  They don't have to correspond, but if you're using 5 coupons + 5 RR coupons, you need ten items.  That's why you see candy there (for Dan...) - because it's one of the cheapest things in the store right now.  They're $.49 each.)

:)~

Extreme Couponing... Started it all.

Okay.

I don't know if you guys have heard of, or have watched TLC's Extreme Couponing show.  I was immediately intrigued and amazed and scared by it.  But, I was also inspired.  If (at the very extreme side) these people can get such amazing deals, why am I not couponing?  WHY am I not COUPONING?!

... Well, I am now.  I am pretty proud and excited by my first ever coupon / double coupon trip.  I thought I'd share how I did with you guys.  Oh, and pictures, too!

Here's my binder:

Here's me in the jean jacket I rocked today.
